Social Distancing

Stay Home: I’m not sure if anyone has told you, but you’re not that important. There, I said it. You can stay home.Give yourself the grace and permission for this hiatius. The world will continue. {Except medical folks, please go to work!} The simpliest way to stop the spread is to simply stop spreading it.

It Takes a Village. I’m also not sure if anyone has told you, but it’s not all about you! You may be healthy and brave and ready to face COVID-19 in the face. But for the radical love of humanity, resist the urge! Tackle that linen closet instead. It’s not just the elderly in our population that are at risk, but those who are immunocompromised, which is more folks than you think.

Start to Finish. The first step is showing up. Or, in this case, not showing up! We can’t begin to finish the spread of this virus until we start. Start snuggling your loved ones, at home. Start reading more, at home. Start learning a new skill/hobby, at home. The sooner we start, the sooner we finish.
